While earning my BFA in Studio Art at the University of Minnesota Duluth, I got the opportunity to explore areas of art and design outside of my chosen digital art and photography emphasis. Ultimately these opportunities led to me expanding my practice and redefining my identity as an artist. Instead of working only as an illustrator and animator, I have built the start of my career as a multi-media creator and designer. Graphic design is one area that I found melds well with my background as an artist. From the methods of making to the experimental, exploratory process and even working with clients, there are more similarities than there are differences.
